Cheers to some, pain to many

Our respective governments over the years have given subsidies and allowed outsiders to set up a number of factories in most industrial places like Karaswada, Verna, Pilerne etc in the name of providing employment for locals in Goa.  Unfortunately, most of these factories have practically gone to prove more like disasters as their owners have been deliberately ignoring our locals giving flimsy excuses and bringing hordes of people from neighbouring states to work in their factories by paying them peanut salaries in the bargain polluting the sacred environment around most of our industrial places of Goa.
Yes, instead of providing employment/decent jobs for our own local youth, these factories have been providing employment only for the migrants and increasing their population at a rapid pace especially at places like Karaswada, Verna, Pilerne, Saligao.  For e.g. one can see a clear picture/result of all these factories as one will find more of migrants and less of Goans roaming around today in most villages near all the famous industrial places of Goa. Now, who has really benefited with the setting up of all such factories in Goa?
I think that the only people who have really benefited with the setting up of all such factories in Goa are not our thousands of educated jobless local youth but neighbouring migrants and a few local people constructing a number of rooms in their own compounds keeping these notorious migrants for rent without even checking their antecedents or records just for the sake of earning fast money. I therefore feel that the setting up of factories might have brought cheer for some but at the same time these factories have also brought pain for many, not just for our youth (as these have practically failed to provide them descent jobs) but also for the local people as these factories have gone to bring a large number of outsiders or notorious migrants in their villages from neighbouring states not just to pollute the sacred environment but also to indulge in their own anti-social activities in different parts of Goa.
