Personally there is nothing alarming or to be worried about it. In fact it is a welcome sign. Let the citizens of our Bharat enjoy their privileges of freedom of expression, freedom of thought, existence and movement. Today, television media has broadcast that some Christians have joined Sikhism – it is the choice of those who did that! There is only change of mind and they took a decision. My greetings to them. Perhaps at some time later they may reconvert. It would again be their decision, their choice, their freedom. The manner how the publicity is given to these happenings, it projects a purposeful intent to polarize communities with an intention to create communal tension with an eye for vote bank.
In fact the tantrics of Bajrang Dal and other branches of BJP act as parallel branches of local and Central government creating an embarrassing situation to the government. In the past, centuries back, India was reduced to a colony of foreign powers owing to disunity among its proletariat and also among its princely states. Let religion and caste be not a hindrance for co existence and peaceful living. Treat your neighbour and all other citizens of this country as humans and as your brothers.
Whatever be your religion or caste, your neighbour and you are humans and the need for existence and sustenance in the world are the same. So why the quarrel! If a Brahmin having a blood A+ve group be in need of blood, in case of emergency, will not the blood of a harigan matching the same characteristics be used?
The world is sitting on a ball of fire, which may explode at any wrong move from our leaders in whose hands we have placed the governance of our motherland.
And while you ponder on conversions and reconversions, have the advocates of that exercise a solution to convert the tribals, adhivasis, schedule castes and harigans etc into Brahmins? If so it’s wonderful our country will be a model of uniqueness. May the good Lord grant us a happy, prosperous and harmonious living in the New Year.
