Denial mode on drugs

The CM states that drugs are not available in the open market, not cultivated in Goa and youth ‘are falling’ prey to the trade!
Readers have been regularly writing about a shop near a Siolim school selling drugs: is this not open market? Have not the schools written to all departments? Why blame parents?  What about outside the GMC?
Was not cannabis ‘gardens’ found in Goa? This was not the only case: there were others as well. Merely stating the same because no more were detected does not become a truth. How can he say it is not cultivated in Goa?
What happened to the factory producing Rs 25 cr. worth of ketamine in Goa? Who was the owner? Who was convicted in the same? Why did not Kamat refer to this? We are still waiting to see if he does. Why, even with such evidence no conviction? One MLA says the Police is involved: no doubt here. What about politicians? The CM then says that local youth are involved in the trade! Only local youth?
The Police cannot even stop the prostitution rackets/ massage parlour fronts. For the information of all MLAs the ANC had a gathering to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Trafficking. The IGP-Goa Police stated that drug consumption is an indirect way of helping terrorism. So, all note, by inference, those who fail in their duty to stop such activities are directly helping terrorists!
Finally, why must citizens wait for the MLA’s to speak out in the Assembly, that drugs is killing Goa for it to be acknowledged as a fact? Seeing the way MLA’s defect, if there is one party only, then they can deny murder? Everyone knew drugs has become uncontrollable, and everyone has been complaining. The fact is the politician can only see money: is that not why 10 MLA’s defected, and GF before that? Let Kamat ask the Govt. how much time is spent by them and the Police in tackling drugs and what is the outcome?
To the press: stop praising politicians just because they start  ‘grow more trees’ and ‘publicly’ say that jobs in Govts. will not be sold. Was not the present drug situation prevalent during both tenures of Parrikar? Why do you support the Rs 10 cr. samadhi, that too at a public leisure place like Miramar? Did he stop drugs in Goa? Has he done even an inkling on this front? Should not the money be better spent on caring for the youth who are fighting for their lives because of drugs? Instead of fighting/boycotting the drug trade the elected are more busy trying to immortalise their ilk with monuments unworthy of their contribution.
Further, how is it pimps  and drug peddlers get accommodation/premises to conduct their nefarious activities? Goans, especially senior citizens who want to earn by renting out their flats, are forced to not refuse renting to any individual or be charged with discrimination/racism. My advice to such people: ask the Police to give references for these people.
