Election in Gujarat

Gujarat model is under  serious scrutiny. Amit Shah  has accepted that incumbency period can be factor to be reckoned with. BJP has been in the saddle for over two decades and yet showing signs of nervous anxiety this time around The whole central cabinet is stationed/ camping in Gujarat, may be for respite from polluted Delhi environment. What is the fear lurking on the minds of BJP? Seasoned, experienced politicians are deriding Rahul and capitalising on his religious leaning or Aurangazeb analogy. What about development plank that BJP is so confident about?
Rahul has prefaced women safety, unemployment, costly education health and madness about GST and demonetisation etc that have touched a chord  of sensitivity among voters. The repercussions on  traders  of looms and diamond are a catastrophic economic disaster. Unemployment is down and hope of revival seems to be low. Workers have already left to their home destination and prospects of returning in the immediate future are deem.
The ghost of Rahul Gandhi is haunting the BJP veterans. If he is  not serious, a novice that should enthuse the BJP for advantage.
But BJP is going guns blazing denouncing RaGa, on the other hand the novice is cool, focusing on issues of Governance and not getting personal or irritated with tirades launched against him. Maturity is proudly surfacing in the young man and voters rallying round him and encouraging in his forward thrust of a young man.
The paradigm of development is on the back burner, his religion being questioned, as if there is shift on priority in propaganda. Some one really said that religion does not matter being personal choice.
The remarks of Sibal in Babri Majid is directed towards RaGa implicating him for political mileage. Is BJP running out of ideas?
However unpalatable Gujarat may throw surprise results as poll pundits project. The jibe about RaGa visiting temples and posters on Pandit Raga will backfire to the  utter dismay of drummer boys losing the substance for shadow. The party is solidly behind him just as BJP is behind Modi. Voters have their own choice however imposed and influenced by party bigwigs.
