which of course the parties and voters are aware that these are never to be fulfilled promises, it is nothing but bait to the ignorant voters, a U-turn manifesto.
Goans do not require goodies, what the people require is a manifesto with promise to:
Permit bureaucrats do their duties as per their conscience and laid down procedures without interference from the politicians. It is seen that highly qualified bureaucrats with degrees like IAS, IIT, law, etc are made puppets in the hands of less qualified politicians, they are pushed and pulled, transferred as per the whims and fancies of the their bosses, many have to surrender the power of degrees to please their bosses to save their skin or for the crumbs thrown at them, degrees obtained by burning night oils and hard earned money should not be compromised.
Stop all type of schemes, and use money to build a strong infrastructure, provide jobs, security, essentials, health care, and make people self dependent and not to depend on schemes. Carry survey of schemes which are misused and given to undeserving people.
Carry survey of BPL people, more than half of the BPL beneficiaries are having business, family members are working abroad, ships, government, private services, etc, yet taking advantage as BPL.
Jobs to be given to deserving candidates as per the Employment exchange register and not to supporters of the politicians, who claim to have provided hundreds of jobs to their constituents, which could be either by bribing or threatening the bureaucrats.
Provide equal facilities to all castes of people to improve their standard to compete equally and not divided on caste basis.
Allow people to live a life with dignity, hard work and not with the crumbs thrown at them, give justice, punish the culprits, protect rights.
Politicians are elected to control departments, bureaucrats, guard constitution, protect rules and regulations, to provide facilities for betterment of people etc.
It’s a challenge; can any party or politician promise Goa the above manifesto and fulfill the same?
