The real green, Rome of the East, Goa started to lose her real, natural greenery long ago since liberation but for reasons best known to our own elected government, in terms of the presently ruling invisible virus they preferred to declare Goa as a green zone but fortunately or unfortunately my state of Goa is the first state in the country with already 1% of its population testing positive for COVID-19. Really not aware in which zone Goa falls at the present moment.
We Goans forget things very fast but I am sure that we still remember the rape on one of our little daughters during broad daylight and that too within her school premises. The very serious interest shown by our very competent Goa Police and the then Goa government headed by our very own so-called very intelligent chief minister is still fresh in my mind. We all must have forgotten the serious incident by now but the victim daughter of Goa will never ever forget this incident of her life and neither will we the so called decent citizens of this state be forgiven.
Drugs and rave parties ruled Goa even during lockdown. Our own government strictly locked us down, the police even seen hitting citizens with lathis but our very concerned authorities preferred to be blind and very easy on these ugly activities. We all know how the locks were opened for ore transportation by locking the people of Goa inside their homes.
It’s only been few days since the rape on an especially abled female kid. Can the accused if confirmed worth treated as a human? Doesn’t the poor kid deserve instant justice or else is it all about different rules for different people like the treatment against COVID-19 wherein even doctors flew from the country’s capital to treat some so called great people of this nation.
Now let us come to the broad daylight killing of our own niz Goemkar “Swapnil Walke”. This brave son of Goa fought till his last as we most of us preferred to be Facebook warriors. Goa needs such daring warriors to fight the battle against enemies like KOLSO (coal) but hardly any of them around. The video where in brave Swapnil bravely standing against the armed cowards is irritating but sadly I am forced to consider myself shameless because we niz Goemkars around the scene once again preferred to stay as the best social media warriors with zero capacity on the ground. The very few like the brave Swapnils are an exception.
Last but not the least; it’s not about the killing of brave Swapnil because brave people don’t get killed so easily. They fight till the last as Swapnil sacrificed his life fighting the armed cowards. We so called Goans killed humanity on that particular day. Is it worth to be so peaceful so that Peace can be completed killed in Goa for all? It’s time to ignite all this injustice happening in Goa. If not, we all will get ignited and our so-called peaceful race will just be a memory and a worthless history.
