Triple Talaq is a big story in our country. Recently UP Minister sparked off the controversy saying triple talaq is misused to satisfy lust. He made a point and many of us would agree with him with his view. Overall there is a rise of divorces in all communities and it is a matter of concern to the society.
Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman and God. It is a promise made to each other, to fulfill a lifelong sacramental relationship of love. The foundation of the Holy union is purely based on Love, but, in marriages of nowadays, love is substituted by lust and when there is no love in Sacred union, the marriages are ending up in divorces.
Divorces are devastating the lives of many couples, especially affecting the children and it is definitely a bad decision to ever make. It is not an ultimate solution. Couples should try to preserve the sanctity of marriage and not violate it by leaving the spouse. Love is the most important essence, to keep the marriages intact and to attain true love the couple should have respect for each other.
True love will never allow the couple to separate. When two people are in love they will hold on to each other if anything hurts them thousand times and more. They have to accept that it is a divine calling to share the joys and suffering together under whatever circumstances life holds them. Man and woman is abided to love their spouse unconditionally, just as God loves us. But when conditions are put in a relationship, love looses it’s hold and the relationship gets cold and sour.
Courts must step in and make rules strict and tough not to give divorces and uphold the values of this great institution of marriage. For any silly reasons, couples opt for divorces. They have to remember the vows that they made on their wedding day that they will love, honour and respect each other in good times and bad for all the days of their lives.
