The frequency of killing/ shooting in USA is alarming. It is very easy for killers/ terrorists/ psychopaths/ deranged/ frustrated maniacs in USA to pull the trigger and possess weapons at will. There is increasing demand to have gun control legislations. The gun lobby is strong and powerful in order to thwart moves against their business interests. Innocent lives of unsuspecting people, children in schools, universities, night clubs. Churches, religious places, have fallen to bullets. This serious occurrences have not made any impact on legislators. Obama was in tears, but had no support to bring in this well intended measure to conclusion.
States have different gun laws. The arms can be bought off the counter without any background check. When will the USA citizens realise and wake up to this deadly scourge, and how many more lives will have be lost? The ISI or terrorists are finding USA the most easy place on earth to secure arms with impunity and carry out their sinister designs of mass murders.
America can no longer be safe without background check and gun control. The arms of mass murder cannot be justified as means of self- protection.
Wake up and smell the coffee if citizens and innocent are to be safe and protected.
The perpetrator as per his brother was not known to be member of any religious group. Organisation, sect, he had absolutely no criminal record to the best of his knowledge and yet his actions are unprecedented. The seer number of weapons, 10 to be exact in his possession is mind- boggling. With intermittent firing, it looks like his familiarity with weapon handling was at its best. How he was able to breach security in carrying large quantity of arms or was there lapse of security check or there is lack of such measure, specially where the crowd was in the range of 22,000 enjoying the concert. Was he acting as lone wolf and what is his motive? The Swat team was swift in reaching the gunman that may have avoided more blood bath The citizens have to consider seriously the question of personal security to carry weapons against repeated serious massacres of innocents caught in crossfires.
