Modi’s one year in office

Heralding the completion of one year of governance of Narendra Modi’s Government on 26 May 2015 the pulse of the people was felt in Goa as under “Corruption continuing”. Impetus was only on creating “Brand Modi, “Haven’t seen any major change”, “only a few positives atrocities on minorities increased”, “India will be a super power”, “Government failed to translate promises”. Quite premature to rate government’s performance. The political flock of Modi stood by him and some had to say “Every state benefitting under Modi”. Corruption has been removed from the political dictionary. Modi as on 17th May completed a globe trotting foreign tours of 17 nations in one year and is yet to undertake to a few more nations.
The political flock of Modi is very much with him and united and it is the same political flock who wasted no time in attacking Dr. Manmohan Singh in Parliament and disrupting business of the Legislature and calling him a weak PM. Dr. Singh had  the most disgraceful political flock  who made a mockery of the political system in India and sold the common man. The political society and their coterie/middleman looted the country of lakhs of crores of rupees which belong to the people of India and made a mockery of a hen-pecked Prime Minister. The Modi Government having been elected by a thumping majority by the people of India has a right to enact such legislations that the common man is protected and the coffers of the nation are in safe hands. The Modi Government has to ensure minorities are protected and the fabric of secularism is maintained  in letter and in spirit.
With four years of governance behind Modi, it is too premature to judge the performance of Modi’s Government. At 2004 general elections BJP party came out with a slogan “India is Shining”. It was the common man who was not content then and even now Modi has ensure that every Indian gets a square meal a day, that there is safety and security for all the Indians that  all Indians have a roof above their head,  the women in India are protected against rapes and gang rapes. Only then the people of India will be able to say.”This is our Government and this Government has to remain in power to serve the people of India”.
