I would like to salute Kanhaiya Kumar, the young student leader from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (who was unfortunately put behind bars by the central BJP leaders on flimsy charges of sedition using a doctored tape of his speech at the JNU campus for openly challenging their fascist Hindutva ideology) for daringly giving a most powerful speech after his release from Tihar jail recently to send a tough message for all the real anti-nationals and for giving hope for millions of our downtrodden people of India by giving perfect lessons of ‘Azadi’ or freedom. “Bharat se nahin, mere bhaiyon, Bharat mein azadi chahte hain (we don’t want freedom from India, my brothers, we want freedom in India”, he said sounding like a new free born Indian youngster of modern India.
Unfortunately, the BJP leaders are trying to malign this gutsy young student with all kinds of allegations by still branding him as an anti-national, why? That’s because Kanhaiya Kumar has dared to target the leaders of the BJP and the Sangh Parivar for trying to take this nation backward to the dark ages by unleashing fascist ideology and for fighting to suppress all fundamental rights of our own citizens using violence to divide this country playing caste/communal politics to enjoy absolute political power at the centre. This is an ultimate fact about the BJP leaders and the Sangh Parivar which hurts them the most and due to which they are currently seen trying to suppress the voice of truth by issuing threats and even using violence against such young daring modern students like Kanhaiya Kumar.
The emergence of a young daring student like Kanhaiya Kumar who is currently trying to take the communal forces head-on has indeed come like fresh air for India. Hope many other students get inspired by Kanhaiya Kumar’s recent heroics and fight to truly liberate India from all the dark forces that are hell-bent on promoting the politics of caste, creed, religion, fascism, communalism etc for their own political survival.
Thanks Kanhaiya Kumar for rightly demanding Azadi not just from poverty and hunger but also from casteism, communalism and from all known communal forces or the real anti-nationals who are working to destabilize India right from inside spreading hate politics in the name of pseudo-nationalism.
