As the name Goa is famous everywhere, the domestic tourists from different parts of the country come to visit Goa. Come to Goa for holidays but do not cook food on the roadsides. It is seen that many Indian tourists come in a group in bus bringing all their cooking items along with them like cylinder and gas which we all know is dangerous to carry while travelling from one State to another state by bus or by any vehicles due to safety reasons. I don’t understand the reason why the border check point police are not checking the vehicles and stop them entering the State with cylinders. By cooking on the road side they create disturbance and garbage which is left unattended. When we the people of Goa visit other States we do not take cylinders and gas along with us to cook on the road side. We go in their hotels and restaurants and give them business. In a similar way, the domestic tourists who come to Goa from different parts of India should give business to hotels, shacks and restaurants. Spend some money and give business to the people of Goa.
All this type of domestic tourists give bad name for Goa. Looking at this now a days many foreign tourists have stopped coming to Goa because they say the State is not like before, women are not safe as many rapes take place and even get killed, government of Goa and police is not taking any action on the law breakers. Garbage bags and other dirt is thrown and utensils are washed in unhygienic conditions everywhere in Goa.
Request our Tourism Minister, Goa police department and Government to take the responsibility to take Goa’s name forward and stop all the domestic tourists from using the cylinder by cooking in open space. Goa police border check point guards to check each and every vehicle and stop them from bringing the cylinder to Goa which is against the law.
