The decision affects thousands of students in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, triggered by the ongoing US-Israel-Iran conflict.
In an official circular issued Sunday, CBSE cited the “prevailing situation in parts of the Middle East” as the reason for deferring Monday’s exams for both classes. Revised dates will be notified later, with students urged to stay connected to their schools for updates and follow official channels closely.

The Board plans to reassess conditions on March 3 and decide on examinations scheduled from March 5 onwards.
