The government on Tuesday announced that airlines have made calibrated adjustments to their schedules and are set to operate a total of 58 flights on March 4 to assist passengers affected by the ongoing Middle East crisis.
According to a statement from the Civil Aviation Ministry, special arrangements are being implemented to support stranded travellers. Airlines have been asked to deploy additional flights where necessary and are coordinating with foreign aviation authorities as well as Indian missions abroad to ensure the safe and orderly movement of passengers.

The ministry stated that Indian carriers are operating 24 flights on Tuesday. Additionally, international airlines, including Emirates and Etihad, have operated nine flights from Gulf destinations over the past 24 hours to help ease travel disruptions.
Authorities also said they are maintaining constant communication with airlines and are closely monitoring airfares to prevent any unreasonable increase in ticket prices during the ongoing situation.
