A school in Israel dismissed a teacher after she confessed to engaging in sexual relations with her students in a disturbing incident. As reported , a 43-year-old English teacher from Petah Tikva was found guilty by the Civil Service Commission after she invited two 17-year-old students for what she described as a “one-time” threesome.
In her statement to the commission following a lengthy investigation, the unnamed female teacher acknowledged having sexual relations with two male students as part of a plea agreement and was terminated immediately. The teacher was prohibited from working for the Education Ministry again and is barred from any activities involving children and youth for eight years. Additionally, she has been restricted from state employment for three years.

Teacher Apologizes For Engaging in Sexual Relations With Her Students
The teacher is reported to have expressed remorse for the incident during her discussions with the media. Voicing her regrets, the woman stated it was a “one-time occurrence” and that she did not wish for the incident to “affect [her] family.”
In an interview, the teacher’s attorney mentioned that the prosecutor closed the case because she “quickly realized that the actions were consensual and that she was not their direct instructor.”
In Israel, the legal age for consent is set at 16. However, among consenting individuals with an age difference of three years or less, it can be as low as 14.
Commission Prohibits Teacher For Violating Professional Boundaries
Although the prosecutor closed the case, the Civil Service Commission tribunal barred the woman from her position after determining that she “significantly exceeded the fundamental professional boundaries expected of a teacher in her role.”
In its ruling, the tribunal disclosed that the teacher’s inappropriate conduct with students commenced while they were smoking together, and she gradually developed a personal relationship with them before inviting the two to her home, where they engaged in sexual activity while a third student observed.
These interactions commenced in September of the previous year and concluded in January.
“This conduct is profoundly serious and significantly undermines the public’s confidence in the entire education system, especially that of the parents who place their trust in the school’s educators,” the ruling stated, emphasizing that the commission did consider the teacher’s individual circumstances while affirming that she is a mother of two children aged 8 and 11.
