Manya Singh, runner-up of Miss India 2020, is among several international travellers stranded in Dubai after rising Middle East tensions led to airport shutdowns and flight suspensions. Sharing updates on Instagram, she described the tense situation from her hotel room on the 65th floor.
Singh said she heard explosions through the night and again around 9 am, calling the experience “scary.” While she noted that the situation appeared slightly calmer with people stepping out, uncertainty remains over travel plans.

According to her, both Dubai International Airport and Abu Dhabi International Airport were shut, though limited flights were being arranged for specific destinations.
She added that the hotel informed guests about possible evacuations and asked them to check out. With transport arranged but no clarity on the destination, Singh signed off her video saying, “Will meet soon,” hoping for a safe return home.
