Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to accept Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, warning that public anger could soon extend to the Prime Minister if no action is taken.
Addressing protesters at Jantar Mantar, Dipke said Pradhan should not continue in office if he has failed to address the issue of examination paper leaks. He alleged that the government spent more effort installing barricades and jammers at protest sites than preventing leaks, claiming such negligence had cost the lives of 22 students.

He further criticised the Centre for delaying its response to the issue and said an “incompetent and failed” minister should not be prioritised over the interests of millions of students.
Meanwhile, the Centre reiterated its willingness to hold talks with the CJP at an official venue, while the organisation insisted that discussions take place at Jantar Mantar or a neutral location such as the Constitution Club. Both sides continue to disagree over the venue despite claiming openness to dialogue.
