Porvorim Police has arrested one person for possession of Cocaine. As per SP North Shobhit Saksena received reliable information that one person was coming to deliver drugs to prospective customers at Porvorim. Accordingly, a trap was laid and on 13/10/2022 at around 05:00 pm a raid was conducted during which the accused person, Rituraj Ramkrishna Pandey, age: 25 years, r/o. Flat No. 602, B2 Wing, Xarbia Township, Hinjewadi, Marunji, Pune, Maharastra was found in possession of 80 grams of Cocaine. The value of seized drugs is worth Rs. 8,00,000/- in the international market.
The accused person has been placed under arrest in Porvorim Police Station Cr. No. 110/2022 under section 21(B) of NDPS Act, 1985 and is presently in police custody. Detailed interrogation is being conducted to find out the supplier and source of drugs.
