VASCO: Mormugao Police on Saturday arrested a teenager in connection with a theft of a scooter in Desterro.
The police formed two teams and nabbed the teen at Headland Sada Colony, when he tried to escape.

PSI Sajith Pillai informed media persons that on Saturday police managed to apprehend one 18-year-old youth in connection with theft of a scooter from Desterro area, on Friday night.
PSI Pillai further informed that after they received a complaint from a person of his scooter theft, PI Paresh Naik formed two teams and started search operation, after noticing the police van, the teen desperately tried to escape but the police apprehended him and recovered the scooter.
“He will be produced before the JMFC,” PSI Pillai informed.
