PANJIM: With two deaths and 218 new cases reported on Saturday, the COVID-19 situation in Goa seems to be coming under control.
The State also registered 348 new recoveries. The active cases now stand at 2,692.
According to the mortality bulletin, of the two deaths on Saturday, one was reported at GMC while the other patient was brought dead to Hospicio and the postmortem COVID swab was positive for SARS-COV 2.
The victims were one 60-year-old man from Valpoi and the other a 30-year-old male from Mobor.
