VASCO: A man was killed and another severely injured after their car crashed into a stationary trailer at Alto-Dabolim on Friday morning. This is the second major accident reported in the jurisdiction of SDPO Mormugao in two days.
Vasco Police head constable Vishwas Dawre stated that the accident occurred at around 5.30 am. Ravi Kumar (25) and Brijkrishna Pandey (52) were driving from Vasco to Verna in a Wagon R (GA-08-A-5363) when Kumar fell asleep at the wheel. The car went out of control and crashed into the back of a parked trailer. Pandey, a resident of Sasmollem, Baina, died on the spot due to multiple injuries. Kumar too suffered serious fractures.
