PERNEM: Pernem Police on Monday arrested one Bishu Kharia, age 29 years, a native of Jharkhand and presently residing at Chopdem, Pernem while extracting sand illegally in the Chapora River.

According to information obtained from Pernem Police, a team of police while patrolling on Monday, found the accused person illegally extracting river sand using canoe in the Chapora River.
