BICHOLIM: One-hundred girls from Sal panchayat were distributed Ladli Laxmi scheme cards by Speaker Rajesh Patnekar on Saturday.
On the occasion, Patnekar said that the unique vision of former chief minister late Manohar Parrikar is solving the financial problems of many people — men, women, girls and youths.
He said that so far the Ladli Laxmi scheme has helped many girls during their marriage.
ZP member Sanjay Shetye lauded the BJP government and Parrikar to introducing such schemes.
