The spree of heavy vehicles falling victim to Smart City works continues in Panjim. On Friday, the rear tyre of a sewage truck got stuck after a road caved in near Basilio’s Gym at St Inez in Panjim.
While attempting to free the truck, the truck toppled to its side, thankfully no injuries occurred. This is the 10th such incident reported in the capital city since February 6, as digging is carried out on most of the roads. The dug-up road, which is currently under repairs, is open for vehicular movement and poses a danger to all vehicle users.
