11 get bail in assault case

The sessions court, south on Friday granted bail to all the 11 persons arrested by the Cuncolim police in connection with the attempt to murder two ASIs attached to the police station.
The applications were ordered to be released on a bail of Rs 15,000 each with a condition to report to the police station every Monday and Thursday.
The 11 persons, including five women were arrested by the police after they attacked the two ASIs Adrian Menezes and Ramakant Dessai at Balli over a dispute to perform a pooja and carry a Palanquin.
