PONDA: At least 12 persons were bitten by a rabid dog at Sapna Park, Bethora-Ponda, on Tuesday evening.
According to doctors at Sub District Hospital Ponda, 12 persons were admitted in the hospital, of which eight persons were discharged, while three others who sustained more serious bite wounds are undergoing treatment at the hospital. One person has been shifter to GMC Hospital. A group of irate locals later killed the dog.
