As per the information given by Mapusa Police, the lad, Moin Miyasaab aged 12, had gone fishing along with his father at Kharewado on Sunday afternoon.
While he was fishing he slipped and fell into the rivulet and drowned.
On receiving the information Mapusa Police rushed to the spot and fished out the body and referred it to GMC for post mortem investigation.
The deceased is a native of Karnataka and was residing at Aradi, Sucorro and was a student of Std 6.
Police is investigating the case.
