MARGAO: A 14-year-old boy studying in a Canacona school went missing on Children’s Day. The police have received a missing complaint from the child’s parents and were in process of filing an FIR till late night.
According to the primary police investigation the student was last seen in the school premises around 12:30 in the afternoon. This was confirmed through CCTV footage of the school premises. It has also been learnt that the student had reportedly, while speaking to fellow students, said he wouldn’t be coming to school from Wednesday and had brought some extra clothes along.
The student was staying at the Mataji Mandir hostel in Canacona. Police said they are looking into some more angles of investigating this case and will then file an FIR.
