PANJIM: In its continuation of training programme to combat cyber crime, 140 police personnel from Goa police were imparted training with regards to National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) portal, investigation of financial frauds and offences committed using social media on Saturday.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Goa Police said the training session was conducted by Rishi Mehta from 14 C and Police Sub Inspector (PSI) Sarvesh Sawant from Cyber Police Station, Ribandar.
“Continuous skill upgradation is key to combat cyber crimes! Today, Police Station staff trained regarding ‘NCRP portal, Investigation of Financial Frauds and Social Media Offences’ by Sh Rishi Mehta from I4C & PSI Sarvesh Sawant from Cyber PS. Total 140 personnel benefitted,” the Goa Police said.
