MARGAO: At least 15 passengers suffered minor injuries, while five serious including a motorcycle pilot, as a Sanguem bound bus turned on one side at Pajifond, Margao, on Tuesday, at around 6.45 pm.
The driver who lost control over the bus while negotiating a turn entered in a no entry and after knocking off a motorcycle pilot dashed an electric pole and a compound wall of a house near Khoja Temple at Pajifond.
One of the injured passenger stated that the bus was making some big cranking sound when it left the KTC stand. “After climbing the slope near Hospicio, the driver lost control over the bus and the speeding bus turned over on one side even before we could know what was happening,” he said.
