MARGAO: Fifteen passengers travelling on the New Delhi to Trivandrum Rajdhani Express today disembarked at Margao railway station on Thursday. The Konkan Railway had installed COVID test area and all tests were carried out at the station.
The train reached Margao between 12.30 noon and 1 pm with 15 passengers who were to disembark in Goa. There were 16 passengers who were expected to come to Goa by the train. However, one of the passenger’s did not board the train at Delhi.
Rapid tests conducted and swabs were collected by doctors on duty and sent for further tests.. The travellers were kept in quarantine at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda. The initial tests came negative.
Thirty three passengers boarded the train for the onward journey to Kerala from Margao Railway station.
