PANJIM: The State government on Wednesday effected transfer of 16 Junior Scale Officers of Goa Civil Services, in public interest.
These include seven Junior Scale Officers, who were awaiting postings, namely Shubham Naik, who has been posted as Deputy Collector (Election); Ganesh Barve posted as Chief Officer of Canacona Municipal Council, Yogiraj Gosavi posted as Chief Officer of Ponda Municipal Council, Sitaram Sawal as Chief Officer of Mapusa Municipal Council, Manohar Karekar as Chief officer of Curchorem Municipal Council with additional charge as member secretary of Ravindra Bhavan, Curchorem; Ashwini Gauns Desai as Deputy Director of Industries, Trade and Commerce and Girish Sawant as Under Secretary (Home).

Sagar Gaude, who was the Chief Officer of Ponda Municipal Council has now been transferred and posted as Administrator of Comunidades, North Zone in place of Ulhas Kadam, who has now been posted as special land acquisition officer of Tillari Irrigation Project.
Nancy Fernandes, who was the Deputy Director (Administration) of Transport Department has been posted as Under Secretary (General Administration-II) while Seema Salkar alias Veera Nayak, who was Deputy Collector (Election), North holding additional charge of Deputy Director (Administration) of Tribal Welfare will now be the Deputy Director of Tribal Welfare.
Swati Dalvi, who was the Deputy Director of Panchayat, South holding additional charge of member secretary of Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda has now been posted as Deputy Director of Tribal Welfare and she will continue to hold the additional charge of member secretary of Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda.
Raju Dessai, who was Deputy Collector and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Sanguem has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director of Panchayat, South while Deepesh Priolkar, who was Deputy Director of Municipal Administration holding additional charge of under secretary in the office of the TCP Minister has now been posted as Under Secretary in the office of the TCP with additional charge of Deputy Director (Administration) of TCP.
Prasad Volvoikar, who was Deputy Director of Tourism holding additional charge of Deputy Director of Industries and Special Land Acquisition Officer, Tourism has been now posted as Deputy Collector and SDM-I, Salcete.
Shripad Arlekar, who was Under Secretary, GA-II holding additional charge of Under Secretary, GA-I and Under Secretary to Chief Secretary has been posted as Under Secretary, GA-I with additional charge of Under Secretary to Chief Secretary.
Meanwhile, Under Secretary (Lokayukta) Milagres Soares has been asked to hold the charge of Deputy Director (Administration) of Transport in additional to his own duties while, Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes Vivek Naik has been asked to hold the additional charge of Deputy Director of Municipal Administration.
Deputy Director-II, Mines, P A Parab has been asked to hold the charge of Deputy Director of Tourism in additional to his own duties and Goa Industrial Development Corporation General Manager Pandurang Talgaonkar has been asked to hold the charge of Special Land Acquisition Office, Tourism in additional to his own duties.
In addition, 37 officers in the cadre of Mamlatdar, Joint Mamlatdar, Assistant Director of Civil Supplies etc were transferred with immediate effect.
All the above officers have been asked to take over the new charges immediately and submit compliance report.
