CALANGUTE: In a case of alleged suicide, a 16-year-old girl, a native of Karnataka, was found dead at Khobravaddo-Calangute on Sunday morning.
Calangute police said they received a call at around 1 pm informing them that the girl had committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling in her rented place. Following this, Calangute police reached the spot and conducted the panchanama. The body has been preserved at Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim. The police are conducting further investigations.
