PONDA: Around 17 students staying with a social organisation at Kavlem tested COVID-19 positive, on Saturday.
Two among these students are studying in Class X at a school in Kavlem. Followingly, the school management has closed down the school.
According to Sarpanch Rajesh Kavlekar, the COVID tests of the remaining students and staff in the said organisation has been conducted and the reports are awaited.
He said that the students tested positive for COVID are so far asymptomatic.
