PANJIM: In all, 17 villages from Bambolim, Kadamba Plateau and Arpora-Nagoa-Parra have been brought under the planning and development area (PDA).
Department of Town and Country Planning (TCP), through a notification issued has notified nine villages in Kadamba plateau, five in Bambolim area and three in Arpora-Nagoa-Parra as planning areas.
While Bambolim and Kadamba Plateau will be part of the planned Greater Panjim PDA, Arpora-Nagoa-Parra will be added in North Goa Planning and Development Authority (NGPDA).
The 17-villages include Chimbel, Talaulim, Gaulim Moula, Bainguinim Gancim, Azossim, Carambolim, Ella, Bainguinim and Panelim (Kadamba), Calapur, Bambolim, Cujira, Curca and Talaulim (Bambolim) and Aprora, Nagoa and Parra.
“This will be followed by notification constituting Greater Panjim PDA shortly,” a senior official said.
