VASCO: An 18-year-old boy from Naval Officers Residential Area servant’s quarters, Vasco, died in a road accident near Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL), Vasco, on Tuesday.
The accident occurred when Rajesh M Kumar Naidu, who was proceeding on his scooter dashed against a stationary trailer, opposite the gym near GSL Vasco.
According to some eye witness, the accident occurred at about 6 am when the driver of the trailer after parking the trailer had gone to enquire about entry time with the security officials of GSL.
The eye witness said Naidu, who got distracted near the gym, failed to notice the parked vehicle and dashed his scooter against the trailerleading to his death.
