Margao: The New District Hospital has tested at least 180 persons at the COVID-19 test facility which has begun recently. All their results came as negative.
The Medical Superintendent of Hospicio Dr Ira Almeida said another 150 persons were tested at the Swab Collection area at the hospital. She added that the patients were tested negative and were released from the quarantine facilities i.e. the designated hotels.. “The people are happy with the new facility at this hospital and the COVID Testing Lab and Swab Collection Centre, which is catering to a large number of persons on a daily basis” she added.
The OPD has been getting 500 new and old patients and the teething problems are being handled by the Hospicio Administration.
