VASCO: A 30-year-old housemaid from Moti Dongar, Margao and a 48-year-old vegetable vendor from Headland were arrested in two different narcotic raids conducted by Vasco police on Tuesday evening. Police have also seized ganja worth Rs 27,000.
In the first raid near Busy Bee School, Desterro, police arrested Sajeeda Kadroli for illegally possessing 169 grams of ganja worth Rs 16,900.
In another raid, one Girdharilal Kahad, a vegetable vendor and a native of Karnataka, was arrested for being in illegal possession of 103 grams of ganja worth Rs 10,000.
