PANJIM: The Union Minister of State for AYUSH Kiren Rijiju (Additional Charge) informed the Lok Sabha on Friday that out of the 101 50-bedded AYUSH hospitals that have been approved in the country, two are from Goa. One such hospital is coming up in each Goa District.
The Minister was providing information regarding the Centrally Sponsored Scheme of National AYUSH Mission (NAM), under which, there is a provision for setting up of upto 50-bedded integrated AYUSH hospitals. and accordingly State/UT governments are eligible.
