MARGAO: Margao and Colva Police on Wednesday arrested two persons for driving in a rash and negligent manner under the influence of alcohol.
Police said that the two persons were booked under 185 of Motor Vehicle Act and Sections 279 and 336 of Indian penal Code and later released on bail.
Margao Town Police Station arrested one person while Colva Police arrested the second person for driving their vehicles in a rash and negligent manner in a drunken state. Police said that the Margao Traffic Cell and Colva Police referred these two cases to us.
“Later after conducting an investigation they were booked. Cases booked against two of them were bailable in nature,” said police.
Police said that they have started a drive against druken driving.
