MARGAO: Maina Curtorim Police have booked an offence against two unknown persons for allegedly forcing a girl to consume disinfectant liquid while on her way to work in Chandor.
The incident took place on Tuesday and an offence was registered late-night against two unknown persons who allegedly came on a black two-wheeler in Guirdolim, Chandor and forced the complainant, an 18-year-old girl, to consume the substance possibly a disinfectant liquid and fled. The girl, who was admitted in Hospicio, was later discharged.
Maina Curtorim Police have booked an offence under Sections 328 and 341 of IPC against the unknown persons. In her complaint, the girl stated that that the duo came on a two-wheeler. The police are investigating the case.
