PONDA: The Ponda forest officials seized a vehicle at Banastari-Marcel for transporting firewood illegally to Dodamaraga in Maharashtra, on Wednesday.
The forest official also arrested Dilp Amruth Naik and Vishnu Sitraram Jadav, both from Dodamarga Maharashtra, for the illegal transportation of firewood.
The forest team that made the seizure and arrest consisted of Deputy Conservator of Forest Kuldeep Sharma, Range Forest Officers Deepak Bethkikar, Prajyoth Naik, Hanumanth Desai and six forest guards.
