VASCO: Vasco Police on Monday arrested two persons on charges of setting ablaze four vehicles in separate incidents at Sancoale, New Vaddem and Chicalim.
According to Vasco Police, Manohar Mandrekar of New Vaddem complained that on Friday, his pick-up (GA-02-V-6964) was set ablaze at Sancoale Industrial Estate. The complainant further stated that his car (GA-09-A-5580) was also set on fire at his residence on Saturday.
Vasco Police informed that after enquiry, they arrested Vasudev Bagkar at Mapusa. Bagkar admitted having committed the crime.
In another incident, Akash Kattamana from Dabolim was held for setting two scooters on fire at Chicalim.
Acting on the complaint of Haseef Pate of Baina, police arrested Kattamana.
