2 Parra locals arrested

Mapusa police have arrested two persons from Canca-Parra on charges of brutally assaulting a person at Morod-Mapusa on Thursday night.
According to Mapusa police, eight persons armed with lethal weapons brutally attacked Siddhu (Sachin) Virdika at a bar at Morod. The arrested persons are Laxman Korgaonkar and Vithal Vengurlekar.
The injured Siddhu has been admitted In GMC Hospital in Bambolim. Police have suspected previous enmity to be the motive behind the assault.
PI Manjunath Dessai is investigating the case.
