MARGAO: Two shops at Vidyanagar, Aquem Margao were burgled on Wednesday night. The robbers bent the metal shutter of the shops and gained entry in the shop and made good with valuables. A mobile shop was robbed of Rs 45,000 in cash, 2 cell phones, Powerbanks and speakers from the shop. A sports equipment shop was robbed of goods worth Rs 15,000 which includes trophies, jerseys, sports material like cricket bats and balls.
“At 7 am I came to my shop and saw that the shutter was bent and my shop robbed,” said shop owner Abdul Khan.
