2 tourists found dead in Arambol

Two foreign tourists were found dead in separate incidents at Arambol-Pernem recently.
According to Pernem Police, Valko Antonian (35) who is a Russian was found dead in a rented room at Girkar Waddo, Arambol, on Friday evening.
Police further informed that on the same day, a tourist Eric Ralia (52) from Holland was found dead at Sokoilo Waddo, Arambol.
It is learnt that both the tourists had died due to drug overdose.
Meanwhile, Pernem Police have arrested one Shriram Krishna Arolkar on charges of stealing two mobile phones belonging to Russian tourists at a hotel in Mandrem.
Arolkar has been remanded to five days police custody.
Pernem Police station PSI Sachin Naevekar is further investigating the case.
