2 water sports operators held

CALANGUTE, NOV 23 Calangute Police on Tuesday arrested two persons in connection with the water sports activity at Baga. Acting on Drishti reports in the media, Calangute Police acted swiftly and arrested the drivers of the speed boat and para-sailor Joseph and Valentine on charges of rash and negligence in Baga waters, thereby causing injuries to the Finnish national and Indian tourist.

Calangute Police on Tuesday arrested two persons in connection with the water sports activity at Baga.
Acting on Drishti reports in the media, Calangute Police acted swiftly and arrested the drivers of the speed boat and para-sailor Joseph and Valentine on charges of rash and negligence in Baga waters, thereby causing injuries to the Finnish national and Indian tourist.
Both the accused are presently in Calangute Police lock-up. Head Constables Ramesh Gaonkar and Datta Sawant are investigating.
It may be recalled that Drishti Surf Life Team had highlighted the accidents in water to Finnish national, Paul Andrews, and Indian tourist, Neeraj Vithalani, on Sunday.
