PANJIM: Crime Branch of Goa Police on Thursday arrested a 20-year-old youth from Porvorim for allegedly being in the possession of drugs and also seized cash, a two-wheeler and a mobile phone from him.

The accused is identified as Nihal Panwale.
According to police, the accused was arrested after he was allegedly caught red-handed with suspected drug MDMA weighing 15.640 grams. One scooter, cash of Rs 1,200 in different denominations and one mobile phone, all worth Rs 2.5 lakh approximately in the international market were also seized from the accused, police said.
An offence has been registered and the case is being investigated under the supervision of Dy SP Rajesh Kumar and SP, Crime, Rahul Gupta, IPS.
