He said, “Many persons from outside Goa are involved in fraudulent activities like cheating and forgery and are grabbing people’s properties.”

Sharing his personal experience, Fernandes said that an attempt was made to grab his company’s (Stanfens Ceramic Coating Pvt Ltd) property at Anjuna by Pramod Srivastav from Mumbai. But he got justice from the Mapusa Court and also in the ‘Court Receiver’ case.

The Anjuna police have now registered a forgery case against Srivastav and his son Amulya and both are reported to be absconding. After committing the alleged forgery, Srivastav filed two FIRs at Mapusa and Mumbai against Stanfens Ceramic Coating Pvt Ltd, challenging the sale deed. But both FIRs were closed by the police after Srivastav failed to produce any legal evidence.

Meanwhile, the possession of the property has been given to Reggie Fernandes after he assured the High Court that he will not sell, dispose of or create any third party rights in the said property without leave of the Court.
