PANJIM: As many as 217 Goa Police personnel including a senior IPS Officer have been infected by the virus so far and 89 of these are active cases and 127 have recovered.
Details available with Herald indicate that of the total, 89 are police constables, 41 head constables and 24 home guards.
However, 127 have recovered so far whereas 89 are undergoing treatment. The data further reveals that 112 policemen are in Home Quarantine of them 38 are active cases. Out of those recovered, 53 frontline warriors are back on duty.
The men-in-khaki are facing the wrath of the infection with the increasing number of cases.
