A 23-year-old Vithoba Mhalkar, resident of Cumborda Verna but a native of Ramnagar Karnataka lost his life due to an accident reported at Cumborda on Wednesday afternoon
According to information from Verna police, a case has been registered under section 279, 304 A of IPC
” One Swapnil Solekar (22), resident of Cumborda Verna but a native of Ramnagar, Karnataka rode his Yamaha FZ Bike ( KA 65 E 3975 ) in a rash and negligent manner while proceeding from Old Verna Panchayat to Cumborda. On reaching the internal road, near Raul Wines, he lost control of the motorcycle and fell on the road thereby causing injuries to himself and also the pillion rider, deceased Vithoba Mhalkar who succumbed to the injuries at District Hospital Margao. ” Said the source
PSI Sanket Talkar of Verna police is further investigating the case under the supervision of PI Diago Gracias.
